Big Chomp Burger @ SS15 Subang

Sincerely apologize for my infrequent update, i've been abandoned this blog for such a long time ever since i started my working life and stepped into another stage of life, which a pretty pathetic one = = perhaps is bcoz of transition period huh? A big thx for foodirector again for bringing foodlovers together to hv a burger feast in this newly opened restaurant, where the start up is inspired by the legendary myburgerlab (burgers still selling like hot cakes every single night = =). Unlike the other burger joint, the owners hv play an interesting twist to their burger by replacing common ingredients like tomato and lettuce wit coleslaw and they differentiated themselves from others by labeling their offers as the 'ommelette style' burgers.

simple and cheerful decoration

Edgra (RM15), juicy grilled beef patty with cheese, caramelized onion, and spanish omelette

The Beast (RM14), mustard patty with pickles, cheese and caramelized onion

Chomp C+ for the big eater, burger bun stacked high with deep fried chicken fillet, cheese cream, ham, and hash-brown, the chicken fillet is pleasurably tender and crispy but the thickness of hashbrown seems to be overpowered the overall texture

Chomp B+ (RM16), similar combination with Chomp C+ but the beef patty is used instead, together with other lipsmacking ingredient such as beef bacon, cheese cream, and hashbrown

Flaming 'O' burger (RM14), comes with crispy fried chicken fillet, pimento cheese, peperoni & salami in between two fluffy sesame buns, i personally like this burger very much

Spice it up (RM17), beef patty with cheese, salami & peproni, and parmesan egg

Hawaii Style (RM15), hearty black pepper battered chicken with grilled pineapple and  parmesan omelette

Jucy Lucy (RM14), gooey stuffed cheese patty with caramelized onion and pickles

thin cut fries lightly seasoned with salt and herbs, served with spicy mayo dipping

Peco Chomp (RM12), grilled chicken fillet with cheese, caramelised onion, and spanish omelette, it was nothing to shout about

Fatty Shroom (RM15), especially catering to vegans, crisp-fried button mushroom with  parmesan omelette, and deep fried portobello mushroom

Spicy Bella (RM14), another option for vegans, grilled portobello with cheese and grilled pineapple

Big Chomp's signature Flossy Chik (RM13), well-marinated tender grilled chicken fillet goes incredibly well with flossy omelette (oh my fav chicken floss!), cheese and caramelized onion, it was the best burger of the day, yum~~~

GENERAL REVIEW:
The Bun: as for the white bun, it was generic seeded standard bun where u can easily find it else where, moderately sweet and barely toasted, was a pretty disappointed one. On the other hand, charcoal bun tasted much more fluffier, it was mild and slightly sweet, yet there is still room for improvement.

The Patties: i like the classic beef patty, they give a loads of flavour to it, it was well-seasoned, juicy and tender. The beef was coarsely ground to deliver a pleasure mouth feel, overall it was slightly above average. As for the fried chicken fillet, it was a bit over cooked but nothing too serious, yet nothing too great to shout about. My ultimate favourite would be their spice rub grilled chicken fillet, it was exceptionally flavourful and tender.

The Fries: evenly salted and sprinkled with spice, rich with potato flavour and hv a fluffy interior, but yet leave no noticeable impression in general.

-------Caveat: preview was merely based on my personal taste, pls try it at ur own risk--------
