Ante Kitchen & Bar @ Solaris Dutamas, Just Another Porkylicious Wonderland
My cravings for porky-licious has brought me to this place, a newly added dining spot in publika (same row as papa rich) which just openned its door in last year october. To highlight its pork offering, their menu is focus on providing high quality and good variation of pork-based dishes, from appetisers and light bites to entrees, supplying another good alternative to consider beside the BIG group's s.wine cafe . Nevertheless i personally prefer s.wine over this restaurant in general, either in terms of dishes offering, customer service or even dining environment, that means the likelihood of our next visit will be pretty trivial = P

Bonjour Garden @ Kota Damansara
Although this was an unexpected visit due to the cessation of operation of 'other place' without our attention, overall we still hv a comfortable and satisfying dining experience in this restaurant. Bonjour garden has a relaxed open-air mediterranean setting with fountains and lush greenery. Customers like us are expect to spend some time on the menu as it has quite a vast and diverse menu across cuisines, from italian and western delicacies like pizza and pasta dishes to malaysian all time favourite delights like nasi lemak, all at reasonable price that will not hurt ur wallets ^^ Besides the main dining area, their bakery also offers freshly made patisserie and boulangerie items such as flaky crossaint and cinnamon raisin twirl to satisfy ur sweet carvings!!
say bonjour to the sun shinning afternoon and pamper myself with great meal at affordable price
excellent place to stay for a relaxing break, chat with friends, and enjoy comfort foods
wide selection of freshly made breads and pastries
specially designed menu, draw inspiration from newspaper's layout
Lemon Grass Mojito (RM10), recommended if u need a light and refreshing drink, lemongrass makes a unique twist and adds a little kick of spice to it
Bonjour Salmon in Cream (RM17.50), spaghetti sauteed with luxuriously creamy tomato sauce with salmon pieces and red caviar. Definitely a gourmet delight
Bonjour Chicken Parmigiana (RM19.90), succulent chicken fillet topped with a mouth watering italian sauce of aubergine, eggplant, tomato sauce and melted cheese, with mashed potato and garden vegetables. Rich, flavourful and totally satisfying, we all love it
Macha green tea pudding with sweet red bean paste (azuki), the pudding is bitter on its own and a dollop of sweetened red bean paste definitely makes all the difference to the taste
Old-fashioned Strawberry Short Cake, fluffy and pillowy layered vanilla sponge-like cake with fresh strawberry and whipped cream, a perfect light dessert after a heavy meal
au revoir!!! ^^

HJ Sharin Low Seafood Restaurant, a Great Place for Chinese-Muslim Delicacies
Being invited by Foodirector, an online platform that connecting people with foods, to have a food testing session at a casual restaurant serving chinese islamic cuisine located at Bukit Antarabangsa, Ampang. With a simple dream, Mr. HJ Sharin Low himself and Mr. Mohammad Azimullah have start up this restaurant together to provide authentic chinese cuisines catering Muslim population who cant eat at regular chinese restaurants. This restaurant currently has three diff branches scattered around klang valley area and two more branches will be subsequently opening in cahaya spk and puncak alam in the near future. Moreover, catering service is available.
Group photo with the owners
Steamed norway emerald fish with incredibly appetizing nyonya style gravy, a great combination of chinese and malay flavour. The gravy taste sweet and sour with a hint of mild spicy-ness, fish is fresh and this hearty dish gonna be a perfect match for fluffy white rice
Steamed normay emerald fish in seasoned soy sauce with a bundle of shredded ginger, crispy garlic, and chopped finger chili. Fish is so tender and smooth, according to the owner, this fish is extremely rich in omega 6 fat and is generally much more higher than salmon and trout
Steamed clams in superior soup (上汤啦啦), honestly not the best one but pleasurably good, the superior soup was pretty addictive with the touch of spiciness and the taste of ginger despite the oily surface
Crispy fried salted egg crabs (咸蛋螃蟹), i would this may be one of the best salted egg crab i ever had, the owner using the 'flower crab' instead of 'meat crab' due to the religious interdiction, every peice was covered with rich and golden-yellowish salted egg yolk batter and was subsequently fried to perfection, leave no excessive greasy feeling in ur mouth
This dish tops my list as one of my favourite foods of the day, i can hardly ever resist this golden crsipy goodness
Buddha's Delight (罗汉斋), basically is vegetables stir-fry with other vegetarian ingredient such as beancurd skin, a well known vegetarian option in chinese restaurant and is traditionally served on the first day of chinese new year to represent good luck, i got a neutral comment on this because it taste neither extremely delectable nor pathetically bad.
Nicely presented prawns in Two Flavours (鸳鸯虾) including butter fried prawns and stir fried prawns with dark soy sauce, the butter fried version was very crispy and finger-licking good but sadly the another was a little bit too salty
Kam Heong Sliced Beef (干香牛片), stirred fried beef sliced with dry curry, beef slices were very tender and flavourful, definitely not a jaw-tiring chore to chew, but overall it was a bit too salty for my taste again
Again my another fav dishes of the day, Champion Chicken (香槟鸡), fried chicken cutlets with white grape juice. Champagne was suppossed to be used as the main seasoning for this dish, and again due to the religion restriction, sparkling juice has indeed became the best substitute for the alcoholic ingredient. Undoubtedly it taste similar like sweet and sour pork that u would find it from most chinese restaurant, and ofcuz, this was totally 'halal' for consumption.
Even daughter of Chef Wan (Msia famous celebrity chef in case u dint know), Serina has visited this place before!!!
If you have the chance to check out this restaurant, please do so, u will be surprise that it was actually as great as those typical chinese restaurants
