Ante Kitchen & Bar @ Solaris Dutamas, Just Another Porkylicious Wonderland

My cravings for porky-licious has brought me to this place, a newly added dining spot in publika (same row as papa rich) which just openned its door in last year october. To highlight its pork offering, their menu is focus on providing high quality and good variation of pork-based dishes, from appetisers and light bites to entrees, supplying another good alternative to consider beside the BIG group's s.wine cafe . Nevertheless i personally prefer s.wine over this restaurant in general, either in terms of dishes offering, customer service or even dining environment, that means the likelihood of our next visit will be pretty trivial = P

Chunky Mushroom Soup (RM12), a creamy, healthy blend of variety of mushroom with crispy garlic bread crumbs toasted to dark brown, lovely and deep mushroom flavour, i really like to chew up the little chunks of mushroom in the soup

The Real Bacon Carbonara (RM26), creamy pasta cooked along side with pork bacon, onions, mushrooms, crispy bacon and finished up with a sprinkle of cheese powder, rich-tasting milky sauce wonderfully clings to every strand of linguini, probably my all-time favourite pasta dish

Ante Pork Burger (RM28), lightly seasoned pork patty, sauteed mushrooms, sunny side up egg, crisp lettuce and melted mozzarella cheese in a healthy whole grain wheat bun, not the best in town but overall still a decent one to satisfy ur craving for non-halal burger, the pork patty was just okay, not extremely juicy or flavourful, but surprisingly, the wheat bun is chewy and fluffy, featuring a delightfully nutty taste of wheat

Chicken Parmigiana (RM25), piece of crumbled chicken topped with home made tomato puree and grated cheese, served with side of potato mash and salad, honestly this dish was totally a disappointment, chicken fillet taste dry and tough, hardly even swallow it without the companion of brown gravy
